Migrant Rights Centre Ireland

Some years ago Columbans identified the issue of migration as a key concern. Many of the countries they worked in, including Ireland had high rates of emigration, and in many countires that found thmeslves ministering to the needs of exploited migrant workers. When Ireland itself become a destination for tens of thousands of migrant workers, the Columbans set up the Migrant Rights Centre Of Ireland to try and provide a resource that dealt with migrants amd the difficulties they encountered.
The MRCI is now  a national organisation concerned with the rights of migrant workers and their families.
- Provision of supports to migrant workers and their families in situations of vulnerability
- Empowering migrant workers through community work practice
- Achieving policy change
